You Want to Start Your New Internet Business

What does it mean to you?

You've been surfing the Internet for a while now; maybe months or years. That little nagging thought has been whispering in you ear from time to time: pssst! Yeah, it's me again! Remember me? Don't you think it's time to make a decision? You know you really want to start your new Internet Business; when are you gonna listen to me?

Maybe that little thought has whispered its massage to you thousands of times. Most of those times you were able to send it to the back benches of your mind, but not today!

Somehow, today it's different, it won't leave you alone! The nagging thought moves from the back benches and claims center stage; in a loud voice, it says: "I won't be ignored any longer, TODAY IS THE DAY!"

Good for you! You've finally made the decision to start your new Internet Business. But, how and where do you start? If you have even a little experience surfing the Net, your heart tells you all the offers of instant riches can't be for real. And you're right, they're not. Most of them are worthless offers to bamboozle visitor's wallets or purses.

To give an idea of where to start, here's my experience:

I knew I wanted to start my new Internet Business but I had a resistance to the project; like a bad taste in the pit of my stomach. After a few minutes of self-search, I knew what the resistance was all about! It was on account of the incredible amount of marketing BS I would have to wade through in order to find the "real deal."

There are the never-ending advertisements telling you that they have the "formula." All you have to do is purchase their cookie cutter website and you'll be in the gravy. What a bunch of baloney! Just because their website worked for them, doesn't
mean a copycat website will work for you! Besides, it's THEIR formula, THEIR website design, THEIR strategy; where do YOU
fit in?

As I kept looking for a solid way to start my new Internet
Business, I came to the realization that there are honest sources of marketing information. Sure, they're hard to spot because it seems everybody has something for sale.

However, the easiest way to identify the honest ones is by the product they sell. The ones that are in it for the long haul sell themselves as their first product.

As an example:

When you visit their websites looking for information that will help you start your Newbie Internet or Web Business, you will find an abundance of high quality free information; way before you come to any sales offer.
The reason is that one of the few ways they can separate themselves from the crowd of me-too imitators, is to show you their extensive knowledge of the subject.

Their way of guiding you is by showing you how to find out what's best for YOU. Their main interest isn't about selling you THEIR system, but to help you design YOUR system. They know the only way you can understand the basics is when you pare it down to terms that have meaning to YOU.

Here is a link dealing with another article I wrote on the subject, "Newbie Business Building and Information Overload."

The Web is so full of contradictory opinions. Sometimes I've looked for answers to a particular problem and never found it. You can go to a number of Forums and post about a given subject and you'll get many opinions; some will be confusing or dead wrong!

In the end, the only thing you can do is ponder upon it, using logic to give it your own interpretation. The more reason you should take the time to discover your method, your meaning.

Always look for ways to give all that's presented to you, YOUR meaning. It will be instrumental in forming your business vision and guide you as you start your new Internet Business.
